Double Daylight Saving

Re “Doubling Up on Daylight Saving Is a Bright Idea,” Ventura County Life, April 1.

If the deprecatory tone of this column was in honor of April Fools Day it was a very lame attempt at humor. Considering California’s energy situation, keeping daylight saving time all year long is an idea whose time has certainly come.

Daylight saving time plus an extra hour from May to September is a winning proposition for everyone, except the out-of-state power corporations that are making billions at our expense.
