Caruso’s New Director of Development to Head Farmers Market Project

* Retail center developer Caruso Affiliated Holdings has tapped John Murphy as director of development. Murphy, who recently completed projects for Disney’s California Adventure, will oversee development of the Grove at Farmers Market.

* Colliers Seeley International, a Los Angeles-based commercial real estate brokerage, has appointed Michael P. Weiner to senior vice president and Don Ferris to senior vice president in the firm’s investment-services division. Before joining Colliers Seeley, Weiner was director of corporate development at Cypress Communications. Ferris comes to Colliers Seeley from his most recent position as a director in Cushman & Wakefield’s financial-services division.

* Rick Krim has been named executive vice president, talent and music programming at VH1 in Santa Monica. He will be responsible for all talent-, artist- and label-relations activities. He’s a former senior vice president of talent acquisitions and marketing at EMI Music Publishing.

* Wells Fargo has promoted Brenda Ross-Dulan to senior vice president. Ross-Dulan also is board president of the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce.

* B3 Corp, an e-business solutions provider in Burbank, has appointed Gary Marcotte senior vice president and chief financial officer. He will be responsible for the company’s financial and corporate infrastructure and strategic direction. Marcotte previously served as chief operations and financial officer at Petsmart.com.

* Los Angeles-based accounting and strategic business-consulting firm RBZ has named Jennie Bordeaux director of its legal-services group. She will be responsible for providing accounting, tax and strategic business-consulting services to law firm clients.

* HPEN, a Los Angeles-based firm that serves as a management consultant to the health-care industry, has promoted Sue Mote to vice president. She’s a former director of operations and reimbursement-consulting.

* Catherine Simms has joined U.S. Trust as vice president and senior private banking officer in Los Angeles. She was with First Union Securities for four years as vice president and relationship manager.

The bank also said former Bank of America executives Hugo Anderson III and A.G. Somoza have joined the Los Angeles office as vice presidents and portfolio managers.
