I just want you to know that I loved Rose Dosti’s contributions to the Food section (‘Passing the Torch to a New Sleuth,” April 8). I’ll miss her.

Thanks for your wonderful column, SOS. It has been a delight to read and make those marvelous recipes over the years. We certainly shall miss you and look forward to Cindy Dorn’s carrying the “torch.” I know she will do a splendid job. Whatever is on your horizon, I know you will be successful.

I have loved reading Culinary SOS with Rose Dosti for many years. The recipes have been great. I also like many of the recipes in the Food section, as they are usually good and not too complicated.
