A 45-year-old man has been charged with violating a court order to stay away from Dodger first baseman Eric Karros after allegedly following the player around the country and taking gifts to his parents’ house.

Joseph Mychel Prudhomme, of Leucadia, pleaded not guilty in Torrance Superior Court last week to two misdemeanor counts of violating a judge’s order.

Prudhomme was released on $50,000 bail.
