CLU to Host Christian Careers Event
California Lutheran University will host its ninth annual Invitation to Service event this week.
From Thursday through Saturday, about 100 young people from all over Southern California and Arizona will listen to speakers and explore the roles of pastors, missionaries, music ministers and youth ministers.
Speakers will include religious leaders as well as those who have made careers in health care, education and counseling, said Lynda Paige Fulford, CLU spokeswoman.
The university will also host workshops to train youth ministers.
