Pair Allegedly Ran Prostitution Ring
A Ventura County couple has been charged with felony pimping and pandering after vice detectives uncovered an alleged prostitution operation at a Thousand Oaks apartment that authorities say was netting up to $25,000 a month.
Sheriff’s deputies said Wednesday they believe more than 100 men responded to Internet ads during the past six months for “sensual massages” costing between $160 and $320 per session.
Ursulla Jenkins, 35, of Westlake Village was charged with six felonies, including three counts each of pimping and pandering. Harry Dover, 30, of Thousand Oaks was charged with three felony counts of pandering, which is recruiting someone to be a prostitute.
Both pleaded not guilty and are scheduled to return to Superior Court on Sept. 13 for a hearing.
