Woman’s Body Found With Gunshot Wounds

The body of a young woman was found on a Compton street Saturday with gunshot wounds, authorities said.
The body was found at 11:50 a.m. in the 1400 block of West Greenleaf Boulevard. She was between 16 and 20 years old and either white or Latino, said sheriff’s Sgt. Vincent Plair.
Anyone with information is asked to call sheriff’s homicide detectives at (323) 890-5500.
