District Seeks Alumni to Help Mark Centennial
As part of its centennial celebration, the Oxnard Union High School District is looking for alumni, beginning with the first graduating class of Oxnard Union High School in 1906.
The “100 Years of Excellence” celebration is planned throughout the upcoming school year.
The events begin with a staff recognition party next month at the new Pacifica High School and will end with a community youth festival at Oxnard High School in April.
Officials are looking for alumni to participate and loan photographs or other artifacts from the district’s past to be used in exhibits.
The hunt is also on for the oldest living graduate of the high school district.
For more information, call 385-2527 or go to the district’s Web site at https://www.ouhsd.k12.ca.us.
