The Way to Wake Up: If I’m not working Friday, I sleep in and then have the perfect coffee--an iced blended mocha with no whipped cream from the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. I love the British tabloids, so I go to the magazine rack and buy everything possible. Then I read and spend time with my five cats and two dogs.

No Fiction: I love to sit in the yard, put on some sunscreen, and read. I just finished the Motley Cre book, “Dirt,” and couldn’t take my eyes off it. I read the biography of Natalie Wood and Melissa’s Etheridge’s book. I can only read nonfiction. I spend a lot of time on the weekends by myself like this, not talking to anybody, just recuperating and rejuvenating.

Refresher: I’d pop out to the Norris Center in Tarzana for a facial. It’s a no-frills place, just a mom-and-pop spa. It’s more of a medicinal spa, so you can get power peels. I love reflexology. A woman there works on your feet and it’s like having a full-body massage.

Retail (and) Therapy: Saturday, I sleep in until 8 a.m., have that coffee again, and then go to Brentwood Gardens, an outdoor shopping area in Brentwood where they have Madison and Ron Herman--shops I love. And then I have therapy, which I can’t miss. I might go out with my girlfriends to Les Deux Cafe in Hollywood, which is this great, fun place owned by this Frenchwoman.

Face Time: Saturday night I chill out and put a face mask on. I’m a facial product whore. I go to the beauty supply store and stock up on cheap stuff, expensive stuff. I try everything on the weekend, because I don’t want to be on TV on Monday with blotches all over my face.

Quick Escape: On a perfect weekend, I’d spend Sunday in Santa Barbara, going antiquing in the shops up and down State Street. On the way back, I’d stop at the Sagebrush Cantina. They have the best margaritas. I don’t drink those now, but they also have great food and a great energy.
