Immigration Woes

Re “Mexican Immigration Could Boom in U.S., Report Says,” Dec. 6: Why are we still allowing limitless immigration? Our quality of life is going into the dumpster. In Los Angeles alone there are severe affordable-housing shortages, overrun health clinics and emergency rooms, overcrowded schools, jammed freeways and parks full of litter. Sept. 11 is the wake-up call. This country is out of control. We need to stop everything right now. When our facilities and planning have caught up, then we can consider controlled immigration.
