Community Band Plans Holiday Concert Today

Holiday songs and a visit from Santa will highlight the Camarillo Community Band’s annual Christmas concert today.
The free performance, sponsored by the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District, will start at 3 p.m. at the Camarillo Community Center auditorium at Carmen Drive and Burnley Street.
The guest conductor is band member Fred Lenk, a tuba player who studied with tuba virtuosos Roger Bobo and Tommy Johnson.
