Three Arrested After 100-Mile Police Chase
Three men suspected of a series of holdups led police on a 100-mile chase until they gave up in Hollywood early Monday, police said.
The chase began after police tried to pull over a suspected stolen Toyota Camry at Hoover and West 82nd streets. The driver took off west on the Santa Monica Freeway and led police on a chase throughout Los Angeles, police said.
The driver continued even after the car ran over a spike strip. He also ignored a resident who jumped on the hood and appeared to try to yank the keys or the driver out.
Arrested were Edward McCullen, 20, of Los Angeles; Kiko Song, 37, a parolee; and Adrian D. Polee, 20.
