2 Are Killed, 3 Critically Hurt in Separate Shootings
Two people died and three others were wounded in several unrelated shootings in Los Angeles on Thursday and Friday.
In the first, an unidentified man in his 30s was found shot in the head and torso in the 1200 block of West Court Street just north of downtown at 5:22 p.m. Thursday. He was pronounced dead at County-USC Medical Center.
At 11:05 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a call in the 9400 block of South Harbor Boulevard. They found Guion Pierre Revels, 18, dead from a gunshot wound.
Then, about 7:40 a.m. Friday, three unidentified men were critically wounded in a gang-related shooting near 111th and Main streets. They remained in critical condition at Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center, police said.
Los Angeles police were investigating the shootings but had not identified any suspects late Friday.
