New Cathedral Will Be Named Christ Our Savior
From Times Staff Writers
Christ Our Savior will be the name of the city’s new Catholic cathedral, Bishop Tod D. Brown announced Friday.
The cathedral, which will also serve as a local parish church, will be on 15 acres north of South Coast Plaza.
Money for the building’s construction will come from a diocesan-wide capital campaign, which also will raise funds for a variety of other projects.
