Christmas Closings
* Mail: Post offices will be open Monday. They will be closed Tuesday and no mail will be delivered.
* Banks: Most banks and savings and loan institutions will be closed after 3 p.m. Monday, and all will be closed Tuesday.
* Courts: Open Monday and closed Tuesday.
* Schools: Closed.
* Government: All local, state and federal offices, except those providing emergency services, will be closed Tuesday. On Monday, Social Security offices will be closed, as well as city offices in Moorpark, Oxnard and Simi Valley. City offices in Camarillo and Port Hueneme will close at noon Monday; city offices in Ojai and Ventura will close at 3 p.m. Monday. City offices in Fillmore, Santa Paula and Thousand Oaks and county offices will be open all day Monday.
* Transportation: SCAT buses and Metrolink will follow daily schedules Monday. No service Tuesday.
* Trash: Regular pickup schedules Monday. Tuesday pickup will be delayed until Wednesday, and collections will be a day later through the week.
