From Times Wire Reports

Two men got their small plane snagged on power lines and dangled upside-down 75 feet off the ground for six hours before firefighters pulled them to safety.

Pilot Brian Hooker, 31, of Atlanta, and Darryl Robinson, 20, of Marietta, were headed for Peachtree City from Cleveland when their single-engine Piper Warrior ran out of gas Wednesday night.

Gliding about 70 mph, the plane hit power lines in the Atlanta suburb of Kennesaw and was left dangling between two rows of cables.

Emergency workers needed two cranes to bring down the men, who were cold but apparently unhurt.
