Neighbor Saves Man Pinned Beneath Car
From Times Staff Reports
A neighbor saved the life of a Stanton man pinned beneath his car Thursday after a scissor jack slipped, authorities said.
Randy Ebbert raised the car off his unconscious neighbor, Francisco Butron, with a floor jack, Orange County Fire Authority officials said.
Butron, 36, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was in stable condition.
Ebbert, a mechanic who lives across the street from Butron, was alerted to the accident by Butron’s son.
