No. 15 Colorado State Gets Blindsided, 77-71

Sarah Judd overcame foul trouble to score 26 points and lead Oakland (Mich.) past No. 15-ranked Colorado State, 77-71, Sunday at Rochester, Mich.

It was the first victory over a ranked opponent for the Grizzlies (5-7), who moved to Division I in 1997.

Judd, a senior forward, had 12 points in the final 10 minutes and grabbed seven of her nine rebounds during that span.

She finished with three blocked shots and three steals.

Katie Wolfe had 21 points for the Grizzlies. Angie Gorton and Ashley Augspurger each had 14 points for Colorado State (10-2).

Alayne Ingram led Michigan (10-3, 0-2) with 19 points.

No. 10 Georgia 83, Virginia Commonwealth 70--Freshman Ebony Felder scored 20 points for Georgia (10-0) at Athens, Ga.

Cyndy Wilks and Kristine Austgulen led Virginia Commonwealth (3-8) with 15 points apiece.

No. 11 Louisiana Tech 74, Fresno State 50--Cheryl Ford and Brooke Lassiter each scored 16 points for Louisiana Tech (7-3, 2-0) in a Western Athletic Conference game at Fresno.

Fresno State (6-6, 1-1) was led by Lindsay Logan’s 23 points.

Kim Reed scored 18 points for San Antonio (3-7).

Kelly Mazzante scored 29 points for Penn State (8-5, 1-1). Ohio State is 6-7, 1-1.
