Saddleback Routs Oxnard, 12-2

Eric Perugini had three hits Saturday, including a double on the first pitch of the game, leading Saddleback to a 12-2 victory over Oxnard in a pool-play game at the Cypress baseball tournament.

Winning pitcher Matt McLoughlin (2-0) had six strikeouts and no walks in limiting Oxnard to two hits over 5 2/3 innings.

Golden West 18, Skyline 3--Elias Landros had three hits and drove in four runs, Joe Burgett had a double, triple and three RBIs and Grant Plumley had three hits and three RBIs for Golden West (4-3), which had 22 hits and won its fourth consecutive game.
