A school bus was struck Tuesday by a pickup truck driven by a suspected drunk driver, the California Highway Patrol said.

The Los Angeles Unified School District bus was stopped at Plummer Street and Woodley Avenue when the truck hit it from behind about 2:30 p.m., Abramian said. The traffic lights were not operating due to a weather-related power outage, he said.
