Lawry’s--Slighted?

I agree with the glowing review of Lawry’s the Prime Rib (“It’s the Meat That Matters,” Restaurants, Jan. 14). But I’m shocked to see the two-star rating. The food is delicious and of the highest quality, cocktails are priced reasonably, service is attentive and efficient, and the dining rooms are elegant. It is no coincidence that the restaurant is always busy and still here after 62 years. Lawry’s is the best value in Los Angeles, and based on the criteria listed at the end of the article, it deserves four stars!
