Two men were killed in a car crash on De Soto Avenue on Thursday night, Los Angeles city fire officials said.

A man and his wife were also injured in the 8:25 p.m. accident just south of the Ronald Reagan Freeway, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

The two men, who were traveling north on De Soto in an Acura, were declared dead at the scene, Humphrey said. Their names were not immediately available. Both men were trapped in the car, which was severely damaged, Humphrey said.
