Unlike in their 24-point victory in January, the 49ers had to struggle to beat the Titans. The victory, before 1,275 in Titan Gym, was their fourth in a row in the series.

Long Beach (16-12, 9-6 in the Big West) overcame a 22-point effort by Fullerton’s Ike Harmon, who made a three-point shot at the buzzer.

Fullerton (4-21, 3-12) remains in the running for a berth in the conference tournament. Idaho, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Fullerton each have three conference victories. Idaho defeated Cal Poly Saturday night. Eight of nine teams advance to the tournament.
