About this house: John Paul Dejoria, founder and CEO of the Paul Mitchell Systems hair products line, bought the home in 1983 and extensively remodeled and expanded it. He is selling because he has only personally used this house a total of six days in the last three years; he has a Malibu estate that he uses as his main residence.

Asking price: Just under $4.7 million. The purchase may include all of the antiques and most of the furnishings, which are originals from Asia and feature some pieces that are 1,000 years old, Realtors said.

Size: The house has five bedrooms, including two master suites, and five baths in about 4,900 square feet. There are also five covered parking spaces.

Features: The property has city, ocean, canyon and mountain views.
