Sunland-Tujunga: The annual Independence Day parade down Foothill Boulevard starts at 10 a.m. Wednesday, proceeding from Plainview Avenue to Sunland Park, 8651 Foothill Blvd., where food, games and entertainment are planned. Starting at 3 p.m., a fair, sponsored by the Sunland-Tujunga Chamber of Commerce, will be held at Verdugo Hills High School, 10625 Plainview Ave., Tujunga. Two bands, a moon bounce and face-painters will entertain visitors until the fireworks show, which starts at sundown. Valencia: Fireworks, live music and dancing will highlight Six Flag Magic Mountain's annual "Strictly USA" celebration from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway. The events are included with park admission, which is $42.99 for people 48 inches and taller and $21.50 for those shorter than 48 inches. The "Great American Picnic," featuring an all-you-can-eat chicken dinner, face-painting, games and VIP seating for the 9:45 p.m. fireworks show, is available to park visitors for an additional $8.95.
