Police Appeal for Help to ID Man Found Shot
Police late Thursday were trying to identify a man found shot to death in an alley behind a tire store earlier in the day.
The man, described as white, 25 to 30 years old with closely cropped, dark hair and several tattoos, was discovered shortly after 2 p.m. behind the Discount Tire at 301 W. Orangethorpe Ave.
“At the moment, he is a John Doe,” said Sgt. Kevin Hamilton, an investigator with the Fullerton Police Department. “We’re probably going to need some help identifying this guy. If anybody has a relative or friend missing who fits this description, we would like them to contact us.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Hamilton at (714) 738-6776 or Detective Andrew Barnes at (714) 738-6762.
