“Bravo Profiles: Paul Newman” (7 p.m. Bravo) includes interviews with Sally Field, Martin Scorsese and film critic David Ansen.

“Family Guy,” the animated Fox sitcom that usually thrives on bad taste, returns tonight at 9:30 after a year’s hiatus. The story centers on family dog Brian, who joins the local police department, where his nose gets him into trouble.
