Palladin Benefit: Many of Southern California’s top chefs cook dinner tonight in a benefit for Jean-Louis Palladin, the legendary Washington, D.C., chef who is ill with lung cancer. Among those at the stove are Campanile’s Mark Peel, Josie’s Josie LeBalch, Spago’s Lee Hefter, L’Orangerie’s Ludovic Lefebvre, Joe’s Joe Miller, Jean Pierre Bosc from Mimosa and Cafe des Artistes, Melisse’s Josiah Citrin, Bastide’s Alain Giraud, Jiraffe’s Raphael Lunetta and La Cachette’s Jean-Francois Meteigner.
