Jewish Groups Plan Rally in Support of Israel

More than 60 Jewish organizations will participate in a “solidarity rally” Sunday supporting Israel in the ongoing Mideast conflict.

The rally, sponsored by the Jewish Federation, will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. outside the Jewish Federation’s headquarters at 6505 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles.

Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres is scheduled to address the gathering from Israel.

Christian Life Church is celebrating its 80th anniversary as an active church in the Long Beach area.
