Crowd Beats Motorist Whose Car Hit Girl, 2
From Times Wire Services
Neighbors and relatives of a 2-year-old girl who was hit by a car in Pittsburg pulled the 19-year-old driver from the vehicle and beat her Thursday night.
Susan Mullens said she didn’t see the child because the sun was in her eyes.
The 2-year-old was airlifted to a local hospital with a collapsed lung and broken ribs. She was in serious but stable condition Saturday.
Mullens was treated and released. No charges have been filed.
