Trial Date Is Set for Father in Infant’s Death
From Times Staff Reports
A Sept. 10 trial date has been set for a Simi Valley man accused of shaking his infant son to death.
Brian Trelatsky, 25, is charged with child abuse causing death for allegedly shaking his 10-week-old son, Tyler, so violently that he caused severe swelling and hemorrhaging around the brain.
Sheriff’s Department detectives arrested Trelatsky in September after a six-month investigation.
Trelatsky has denied abusing the child. If convicted, he faces 25 years to life in prison.
