Lancaster Gets Even but Falls in 11th, 9-7

Chris Snelling’s run-scoring double and Luis Figueroa’s run-scoring groundout in the 11th inning gave San Bernardino a 9-7 victory over Lancaster Tuesday night in front of 1,824 at The Hangar.

Cedrick Harris led off the ninth with a home run to tie the score, 7-7, for the JetHawks (27-31).

Brandon Knight, formerly of Buena High and Ventura College, was promoted to the New York Yankees on Sunday.

Knight was 5-3 with a 3.58 earned run average at triple-A Columbus, where he was second in the International League with 63 strikeouts.
