5 Children Found Alone in Apartment

Police were searching for the parents of five young children found living alone in a Bridgeport apartment without electricity and barely any food.
The children, ages 2 to 11, were found Friday. Custody was given to the state Department of Children and Families.
Police were told by the landlord that he had evicted the family, but the children remained.
