1-Month-Old Baby Badly Hurt in Crash
An infant sustained serious head injuries Sunday night after a sport utility vehicle carrying the boy rolled over on the Victory Boulevard offramp of the San Diego Freeway, officials said.
The 1-month-old boy was taken by helicopter to Children’s Hospital after the 6:30 p.m. accident and was listed in critical condition. Two or three other people were in the car but were not injured, said Jim Wells of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The accident closed the offramp of the northbound 405 for about 20 minutes, CHP Officer Charles Blair said.
