Lineup Order Reversed in Thompson Slayings

A state appeals panel Tuesday reversed a lower court’s order that a suspect in the 1988 slayings of racing legend Mickey Thompson and his wife appear in a police lineup.
Michael Goodwin, Thompson’s former business partner, challenged the order last month, arguing it violated his constitutional rights because he has never been arrested in connection with the murders.
