* Early Ventura--The city of Ventura will hold an anniversary event to mark “Don Raymundo’s Birthday” March 11 at the Olivas Adobe, 4200 Olivas Park Drive, Ventura. The pioneer rancher is credited with building the historical adobe. Activities will include a short theatrical work depicting Raymundo’s life and accomplishments. Hours: 1-3 p.m. Free. 658-4726.

* Pops--Conejo Pops Orchestra, under the baton of Elmer Ramsey, will perform March 11 at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s Scherr Forum, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. Los Angeles Opera tenor Chris Feeney will join the orchestra for a program of light classics, Broadway melodies, opera arias and Irish songs.
