Trepagnier Will Remain Starter

Jeff Trepagnier struggled again last week and was replaced for long stretches against Stanford and California. Against Cal, Trepagnier spent nearly the entire second half on the bench while Desmon Farmer provided the spark that helped the Trojans win.

But Coach Henry Bibby said there would be no flip-flopping Trepagnier and Farmer in the starting lineup this week against Washington and Washington State.

“Jeff is my starter,” Bibby said. “He has deserved that over the years of playing here. He’s really had a tough year and I sympathize with that. But Jeff has had one or two great games.

“Desmon has accepted his role coming off the bench, knowing he will get his minutes.”
