* The Master’s College, which has won 24 consecutive games, was seeded No. 4 for the NAIA women’s basketball tournament at Jackson, Tenn.
The Mustangs (26-2), an independent team, finished No. 4 in the final NAIA poll. They open at 8:15 p.m. PST on Wednesday against the Dillard (La.) Devilettes, an at-large team from the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
A victory would put Master’s in a second-round game at 7 a.m. PST next Friday against the winner of 13th-seeded Oklahoma Christian and Houston Baptist.
* Registration for the ARC Instructional Academy spring league for players from kindergarten to 12th grade is Saturday at 9 a.m. at North Hollywood High and at 1 p.m. at Pierce College.

GYMNASTICS
* UCLA freshman Jamie Dantzscher, a former Palmdale resident, was selected Pacific 10 Conference gymnast of the week for Feb. 28-March 4.
Dantzscher helped the Bruins to a meet-record 197.7 points with a her perfect 10 in the floor exercise.
