Port Hueneme Bank Robber Sought
Authorities are seeking a man who robbed a Port Hueneme bank Friday afternoon and escaped on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
Police said the man entered the Santa Barbara Bank and Trust in the 700 block of West Channel Islands Boulevard at 5:35 p.m. and gave the teller a note demanding money.
He was last seen headed north behind the Oliveira Plaza at Victoria Avenue and Channel Islands Boulevard, said Sgt. Chris Graham of the Port Hueneme Police Department.
Graham described the robber as a white man weighing about 180 pounds, between the ages of 38 and 45. He had a goatee and was wearing a green shirt and dirty jeans.
