Voit Development Plans Brea Industrial Park

Voit Development Co. said Monday that it will break ground in June on a $35-million industrial park in Brea that it describes as one of the largest in Orange County to be built without first signing tenants.

The subsidiary of Voit Cos. in Woodland Hills said the 500-square-foot Voit Brea Business Park will be built on 30 acres north of Lambert Road off Berry Street. It will consist of 16 buildings, each from 13,000 to 51,000 square feet.

The company expects that at least half of the buildings will be sold to nearby companies that want larger quarters, said Mitch Zehner, an agent at Voit Commercial Brokerage of Anaheim, a subsidiary that will market the property. He said other properties will be leased.
