Greg Voigt held off a late charge from Chatsworth’s Tommy Fry to win the Miller Lite Super Late Model 75-lap main event in front of 4,839 at Irwindale Speedway on Saturday night.

Voigt took advantage of rookie Rip Michels’ tire problem on the restart after an accident on Lap 60 took out Long Beach’s David Pook.

Voigt held the lead the rest of the way, holding off the surging Fry. An accident on Lap 72 forced the field to reset. Brandon Loverock finished third, followed by David Gilliland and Russell White.
