Also included is UCLA’s five-game victory over Stanford in 1984, called the greatest comeback in Bruin history by Coach Andy Banachowski, and the 1998 championship won by Long Beach State, which rode the shoulders of pro beach star Misty May to become the first undefeated women’s team.

Other memorable moments are the 1988 title won by Texas, the first champion east of California, and the mid-1990s domination of Stanford, which won three titles in four years.

The producers also pick a 20th anniversary all-time team. All six players are from California schools, including May and former UCLA star Natalie Williams.
