Strawberry Is Dealt Get-of-Out-Jail Card

Pity poor Darryl Strawberry, he has to go back to drug rehab for probation violation. He should have been sent to prison like my brother, who didn’t go on a binge, didn’t commit some other crime to support his addiction. All he did was miss an appointment with his probation officer and he got 16 months in state prison. After he had completed 34 months of his 36-month probation.

It is a wonderful thing, this criminal justice system of ours. People are treated so fairly and the judges all see an addiction as an illness and not a crime. What a crock.
