* Choir--The Gold Coast Concert Choir, under the direction of Kenneth Helms, will perform “Isn’t It Romantic? A Collection of Your Favorite Love Songs” at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1500 North C St., Oxnard. * Classical--The Ojai Music Festival, one of the region’s most respected cultural events, will return to the Libbey Bowl from June 1 to 3. The 55th annual festival will be led by conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen and artistic director Ernest Fleischmann. The wide-ranging program will include orchestral and chamber music concerts, recitals and a symposium. American soprano Dawn Upshaw will appear in recital and with an orchestra, as well as giving a master class for young singers. Other performers will include British pianist Paul Crossley, Cuarteto Latinoamericano, and Latin jazz musicians Oscar Castro-Neves and Dori Caymmi. * Cowpokes--Conejo Players Theatre will host its fourth annual Cowboy Poetry and Western Music event June 2. Performers will include Steve Dirkson, Gary Robertson, Chuck Thomas, Les Buffham and the duo Buckaroo Balladeers. Show times: 3 p.m. ($15) and 8 p.m. ($17). Barbecue: 6 p.m. ($10). All-day pass: $40. * Art--ArtWalk 2001, an annual fund-raiser for Conejo Valley Art Museum, will be held June 2 and 3 in the east parking lot of The Oaks mall, 222 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. The juried fine arts and crafts event features a wide variety of wares by more than 100 exhibitors from across the Southwest. Free. 492-8778.

* Jazz--Former Ellington cornetist-arranger Bill Berry and his 16-piece L.A. Big Band will be joined by singer Ernie Andrews on June 3 at 8 p.m. at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s Scherr Forum, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. The concert is being presented by KCLU-FM. $23-$32. The Westlake High School Jazz Band will give an outdoor show at the Civic Arts Plaza at 5:30 p.m., and the L.A.
