Two Ways to Put Rodman in His Place

Re “Rodman’s Major Ruckus,” May 13:

Newport Beach has done its fair share. Newport has put up with the noise, the burden of the added traffic and parking congestion and the deterioration of the neighborhood. Newport Beach has been tolerant and it is now time for south Orange County to share the burden. Stop being NIMBYs, South County, and let Dennis Rodman move in. It’s only fair!

So we have yet more free publicity for that worthless clown, Dennis Rodman, defacing the front page of your new “California” section--and on Mother’s Day yet.

Here’s one mother who wonders why you didn’t relegate this creep to one short paragraph of your “In Brief” column. Why not feature the story of the heroic San Clemente woman who is saving lives, or the stories of 10 other “real leaders” in California you have hidden on the inside pages?
