Brian Stavisky’s home run in the top of the 10th inning--his second of the game--gave Notre Dame an 11-10 victory over UC Santa Barbara Sunday in an NCAA baseball regional at South Bend, Ind.

The loss eliminated Santa Barbara (40-17) in the regional. Notre Dame (48-12-1) must beat Florida International (42-18) twice today to advance to a super-regional against USC (42-17).

Earlier Sunday, Jed Stringham hit a home run that barely stayed inside the right-field foul pole in the ninth inning to give Santa Barbara a 13-12 victory over Wisconsin Milwaukee (39-18). The Gauchos led 12-5 when play was suspended in the fifth inning Saturday because of rain.
