Last fall, ABC opted for star power, signing Geena Davis to a heavily publicized sitcom that struggled to hold its own on Tuesday nights after “Dharma & Greg.” When Joan Cusack’s midseason comedy clicked with viewers, ABC cut its losses and dropped Davis.

Rather than repeat Cusack’s series at this point in the summer, ABC opted to resurrect “The Geena Davis Show,” which reclaims its former slot at 9:30 p.m.

In baseball, it’s the Rockies vs. Dodgers (7 p.m. FSN2) and Twins vs. Angels (7 p.m. FSN).

MOVIES

“Fatal Attraction,” the 1987 Michael Douglas-Glenn Close thriller that inspired a bundle of bad knockoffs, airs twice at 9 and 11:30 p.m. on TNN.
