Parris and Gillespie Will Be Out of Action

Pitcher Matt Parris of Highland High was placed on the suspended list Tuesday by the Detroit Tigers’ rookie-level Gulf Coast League affiliate.

Eric Gillespie, formerly of Cal State Northridge, was placed on the temporarily inactive list by the Portland Sea Dogs, the Florida Marlins’ double-A affiliate.
