Man Arrested After 5-Hour Standoff

Police officers arrested a man late Friday after firing tear gas into a trailer where he had barricaded himself for five hours and threatened suicide.
David Hugo Ortega, 33, of Oxnard was booked into Ventura County Jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property, unlawful possession of a shotgun and delaying the duties of police, said Sgt. Jason Benites of the Oxnard Police Department.
