Yankee closer Mariano Rivera: Well, it finally happened. Rivera, the most dominant reliever in postseason history, having saved 23 consecutive games, finally let one get away. And this time it cost the Yankees their fourth straight World Series. Rivera had a win and a save in the three Yankee victories while limiting Arizona to two hits in six innings. In the ninth, he gave up three hits, made a throwing error and hit a batter, enabling the Diamondbacks to win.
